Task Force Director of Revenue Management
Anchor TotalHR’s Task Force Division, specializing in temporary management support in the Hospitality sector, is in need of an experienced Task Force Director of Revenue Management.
Job Description Summary:
The Task Force Director of Revenue Management will provide both short and long-term Operations Task Force coverage for either full or select service properties. This individual is responsible for managing hotel revenue generation & maximization through full utilization of company systems, business processes and specifications of the assigned hotel(s) with support and direction from ATHR’s Vice President of Hospitality Task Force Operations as well as the client contact. The Task Force Director of Revenue Mgmt. is a temporary assignment that requires travel to assist various hotels. Our goal is for assignments to follow consecutively, however, the timing of orders may necessitate breaks in assignments.
This position is primarily responsible for controlling the property’s room inventory management process, maximizing occupancy, ADR, and REVPAR through an ongoing analysis of the hotel’s overall selling effort, accomplished through implementing pricing, yield, and selling strategies for the hotel, based on market factors and the company’s guidelines to attain budgeted rooms revenues and overall profitability.
Included within this role is the ongoing monitoring of competitor strategies and competitive-set market and positioning data; the need to maintain a full understanding of the dynamics of the local marketplace, key demand generators, and to present appropriate action plans to management while monitoring and communicating fluctuations in occupancy to operational departments so that they can effectively manage staffing requirements, increase efficiency, and maintain appropriate guest service levels.
Qualifications: Education, knowledge, training, and work experience
• Must have current or recent hotel task force experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in Revenue/Yield Management.
• Excellent communication, time management, supervisory and leadership skills are a must.
• This is a high travel role.
